a little bit
Pretty Little Party was born when our founder, Chelsea discovered a mini unicorn piñata on her travels. Absolutely in love with the adorable little favours she had to order one.
When it arrived, she was slightly disappointed and thought someone has to do these little boxes justice. After thorough research she discovered that South Africa had nothing like this. No one made these boxes of joy. So, without hesitation she quit her job and bought a cutting machine.
ABOUT PRETTY LITTLE PARTY
I’m Chelsea Kate,
your gal from the suburbs of Durban, with a large heart, strong faith and big dreams. I’m obsessed with all things pretty and pink, podcasts, healing your body with food and chocolate (ironic I know).
Just a few months ago you would have found me wearing skorts and a white polo, exhausted, with a tiny port hole as my daily natural light. Although the job seemed like a dream, traveling the world while working, the fantasy wasn’t exactly reality.
As I studied hospitality at university and eventually went on to work for a local events company, before leaving for the yachting dream. I had a taste of the industry and fell in love. I have a passion for events planning, décor styling, floral arrangements and everything that comes with celebrations.
So, I invested in a cutting machine, which was my one-way ticket out of my tiny port hole bedroom and lead me to starting my brand and business, Pretty Little Party. So, now you can find me cooking up a storm at my place in Durbz or sipping on a mojito in Aruba with my dreamy man.
